Belhus lost the toss and Capricorn elected to bat.

A great opening spell from Tyler Robertson 2-26 gave Belhus an early wicket. However, a big partnership formed and at drinks, Capricorn were 123-1. On the resumption, Belhus in the form of Louie Mailey 0-15, Henry Overy 0-38, Teddy Waters 1-23 and Afra Rose Mohamed 1-33 bowling some tight lines restricted the opposition to 206 off 35 overs

It was a daunting total and with scores in excess of 170 only being chased down 3 times in the last year at NS, it needed an inspired partnership of 180 from Teddy Waters and Robert Healy, with Ted going for 70 and a quality knock of 97no from Robert, Belhus knocked off the runs with 5 balls to spare.
