Belhus Cricket Club was established in 1960. We run 5 Saturday XIs, 2 Sunday XIs and a Midweek XI and very much welcome new members - both junior and senior and of all levels of ability.
Our Saturday XIs play in the Shepherd Neame Essex League and our Sunday 1st XI plays in the Essex Sunday League. But not all of our matches are competitive league matches - we organise non-competitive/social fixtures throughout the season in order to cater for all players and to provide the opportunity to get to meet other members. We also organise an annual tour for seniors - something we have been arranging since 1966 - including tours to Northern Ireland, Barbados, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Devon, Hampshire and Norfolk.
Our much acclaimed main ground at North Stifford Village Green has one of the best cricket pitches in Essex. We also play at the picturesque ground in South Ockendon Village, just behind the historic St Nicholas Church.
