Youth Section
* * *
In 1975, the Club established its Youth Section, one of the very first in the borough of Thurrock, and today we arrange league and friendly matches for various age groups between Under 7 and Under 19. A number of our junior players have represented County and District XIs, and most of our open-age teams comprise players who came through our Youth Section. We have also been hugely successful in winning many League titles and Cup competitions over the years (see 'Trophy Cabinet' on the side menu of our website).

may fulfil their cricketing potential, as well. of course, enjoy themselves and make many new friends.

Safeguarding
All of our coaches and other members who are involved in supervising and training youth members have undergone DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks and first aid courses. Our Club Safeguarding Officer, Nicki Gladman, is responsible for overseeing the safeguarding of our younger members.
We were one of the very first clubs in England to achieve the prestigious ECB 'Clubmark' Accreditation which evidences a safe, effective and child friendly environment at Belhus CC.
