Have played cricket all my life. Joined Belhus in 2008 at the sprightly age of 48! (most have given up by then). Have been an opening bat, and bowled S.L.A since I started in senior cricket aged 10. The yips came along which all but destroyed my bowling some 10 years ago but I keep trying! I took 99 wickets in 1985 (and 1,256 runs). Now in the Autumn of my career, I would like to continue playing and bring on youngsters in the club. Have completed an umpiring course (April 2009) and now qualified to level 2 I have also completed a level 1 coaching course. I would like to get involved more with the running of the club and help out wherever possible and take the club forward. I look forward more to teas, a shower, beer and a chat these days.
