CLEAN SWEEP BY ALL 5 SATURDAY XIs:

On another extremely hot day in our summer of heat waves, Saturday 8th August witnessed all 5 of our XIs recording victories:

1st XI v Frenford > Won by 7 wickets

2nd XI v Benfleet > Won by 82 runs

3rd XI v Leigh-on-Sea > Won by 5 wickets

4th XI v Tillingham > Won by 113 runs

5th XI v Benfleet > Won by 165 runs

We have previously achieved such success (on 23rd July 2016), but it is an extremely rare occurrence for any club side.

And to cap the winning weekend, the Sunday 1st XI followed suit on 9th August by defeating Hornchurch Athletic by 155 runs.
