NEW CLUB RECORD - HIGHEST LOSING TOTAL BATTING SECOND:

The 1st XI's Hamro Foundation Essex League match against Walthamstow on 23rd May 2026 at North Stifford produced 616 runs.  Walthamstow batted first and posted 316 for 8.  After tea, our 1st XI made a terrific effort to chase down the target and, although losing the match, their closing total of 300 for 6 created a new Club Record Highest Losing Total Batting Second.

This surpassed the previous record of 274-9 v Leigh-on-Sea on 5th July 2014.  And Billy Winter appeared in both matches!
