We are sad to inform you that we have recently learned of the passing of Don East on 20th August 2025 after a short illness.

Don was a regular for Belhus for over 10 years prior to COVID as a batter and wicketkeeper. He was (and still is) the oldest Belhus player to score a half century for the Club - hitting 62 (retired) for the 5th XI vs Wickford on 4th June 2016 at the age of 65 and 186 days.
