ASHIR SALEEM CAPTURES '7FOR'.
In the 3rd XI's Hamro Foundation Essex League match against Chelmsford on 10th June, we dismissed our hosts for a modest 142 after Ashir Saleem did the damage with the ball in taking an impressive 7 for 30. This was the first occasion of a '7for' since Dan Norris also returned 7 for 30 against Orsett on 14th June, 2014.
Unfortunately our 3rd XI couldn't quite chase down the required target and we lost by an agonising 10 runs. Disappointing of course, but a memorable day for Ashir. Congratulations to him.
