In this 2nd Round of the Dukes Essex League Cup, our 1st XI batted first and were skittled out by Hornchurch for a lowly 111. George and Harry Hankins, along with Adeel Malik, did the damage with 2 wickets apiece as Belhus lost 6 batters to lbw decisions - believed to be a record for the Club.

In their reply, Premier Division side Hornchurch lost wickets regularly but despite wicket-keeper skipper Lewis Blake snaring 3 fine catches and Callum and Haydn Owen bowling well again to capture 3 and 2 wickets respectively, Hornchurch managed to squeeze home to win a close encounter by 3 wickets.
