When Abridge batted first, three of their batters chalked up half-centuries, and despite a maiden '5for' by Harvey Stapleton (5 for 47), the team total was taken up to 315 all out in their 35 overs.

Such a total was always going to be difficult to chase down, and although George Maidment (52) and Louie Mailey (50) registered fine fifties, Belhus weren't quite able to reach the required target and were dismissed for a respectable 223 to lose by 92 runs. Well played Abridge.
