Batting first at North Stifford in this Sunday friendy, Aftab Mohamed was our lead run-scorer with a quality half-century (75), his fourth this year, that saw him reach 500 runs for the season. Support came from Lewis Blake (33), who also passed 500 runs for the season, and Alex Blake and Dylan Sinfield with 31 runs apiece. All of the six Crusaders bowlers took wickets and we closed on 212 for 9 after our allotted 40 overs.

After tea, Belhus deployed no less than 9 bowlers in their attempt to prevent Crusaders from reaching their target, but they could not derail Sonu (107*) and Jindu (63) who steered their side home to a comfortable 7-wickets victory.
