In a game that had its fair share of twists and turns, Belhus Sunday 1st XI fell short in their chase against East Ham Corinthians - but not before witnessing one of the most extraordinary individual performances ever seen on the field.

After winning the toss, East Ham Corinthians opted to bat and were anchored by a dominant innings from Arjun, who smashed an unbeaten 94, guiding his side to a competitive total of 170/10 in 35 overs.

While wickets fell regularly at the other end, Arjun stood tall, holding the innings together amid a carnage caused by Belhus's Muthukumar Krishnasamy.

A Spell for the Ages -
Muthukumar Krishnasamy ran riot through the middle and lower order with a devastating spell, claiming 5 wickets for just 32 runs in his 8 overs. What made it even more magical was a hat-trick with the same ball he completed his five-wicket hauL- an incredibly rare feat at any level of cricket.

He removed Pawan (LBW), Subil (Bowled), and Sagar (Caught) in three consecutive deliveries to seal the hat-trick, to cap off an unforgettable over. His spell brought Belhus back into the game, keeping them within touching distance.

Chris Didd also chipped in with 2 wickets, while Billy Maidment grabbed 3.

Belhus CC Response
Chasing 171 for victory, Belhus struggled for consistency with the bat. Afra Rose Mohamed (24), Rakesh Kesireddy (25), and Billy Maidment (19) provided some resistance, but regular breakthroughs by the East Ham bowlers restricted the flow of runs.

B A Satti led the charge with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 15 runs, including the scalps of Kesireddy, Maidment, and Krishnasamy. K Khan and D Pawan added 3 and 2 wickets respectively.

Belhus were eventually bowled out for 134 in 34 overs, falling short by 36 runs.
