Belhus were well set at 120 for 2 batting first but following the loss of skipper Jim Robertson for 38, strike bowler Umar stormed through the Belhus batting taking 6 for 29. Ryan Prendergast made a hard fought 58 in a determined partnership of 88 with Robertson and Adam Martin hit a quick fire 32 with 7 boundaries before Umar crashed the Belhus party as they slumped to 159 all out.

In the field, Belhus made the visitors work hard to get to their target. All the young Belhus attack bowled well with Alex Newell and Ryan Worley picking up 2 wickets each. Will Dawson grabbed 1 with a smart caught and bowled and Haider Bashir continued his promising development with some tidy off spin. Hasib’s 50 proved key for Redbridge and Umar completed a fine all round day with a well struck 43.
