Our 4th XI elected to field first in this Essex League match and the decision by skipper Martin Mailey proved the right one as Ben Gladman bowled magnificently to take 5 for 11 (the Club's best bowling analysis to date this season) Lucas Barnett took 3 for 33 and Alan Maidment 2 for 4 as we dismissed OSS for a modest 117.

In the reply, we didn't make an easy job of the run-chase but a great partnership from Louie Mailey (25) and Scott Sinfield (39) proved decisive. Lucas Barnett 9 not out managed to get us home to a 3-wickets victory in an evenly-fought contest.
