Four of our 4th XI batters Riley Everett (40), Tom Thompson (25), Louie Mailey (23) and Liam Waters (22) all played themselves in but were unable to capitalise on their efforts and we could only manage to post 170 for 9 from the 40 overs, a total we knew was probably a little under par.

And so it proved as Westcliff-on-Sea had little difficulty in chasing down the runs to cruise home to a 6-wickets victory. Nothing more to be said really.
