Harold Wood batted first and posted a respectable total of 234-5 from their 50 overs with A Abdul (54) and M Kadir (53) stroking half-centuries.

In our run-chase after tea, opener Zoran Suneel stroked a nice 31, but although our other batsmen didn't chip in, we showed our defensive skill in holding out for a draw despite a fine spell of 6 for 50 by S Chottekalapanda.
