Belhus won this 35 over Sunday friendly, played in blistering heat.

Having won the toss, South Loughton batted first and posted a healthy 206 for 4 with good knocks from Sam Hill 38 and Sahib Punchal 55*. But it was skipper Ahmed Chughtai with a fine and steady 71* that ensured them of this. Henry Overy took 2 for 27, Muhammad Yasar 1 for 19 and James Webb 1 for 34.

In reply, we timed our run chase to perfection. Lewis Blake 26 and Sam Hiscott 34 batted well, Mike Cansdale with 37 brought us back into the game, and that left Henry Overy with a good 42* and Wayne Read with a nice 36* to see us home with an over to spare.

And a big thanks to Julie for scoring in that heat for the second day running.
