This was the 3rd XI's opening match of the season and, fielding first, they were pleased with their performance after bowling out Goresbrook for 155. Lucas Barnett and James Webb were our star bowlers capturing 3 and 4 wickets respectively.

In our run-chase, Jack Plane batted superbly for a fine half-century (50) as too did Liam Waters (25) before leaving the field through injury. And it was left to Alfie Ware (16*) and Dylan Sinfield (27*) to continue their excellent form of last season by steering us home to a comfortable victory. Well played Belhus.
