Belhus lost to Orsett in this hastily arranged fixture from the day before.

Batting first, it was much like deja vu, apart from the result, as we could only manage to post 166 from overs 40 overs. Teddy Water hit a nice 34 and Aftab Mohammed a good 42 not out, but it was Henry Overy who continued his fine form and a great season with an excellent 59 on a tricky pitch, this innings took Henry to 1190 senior runs for the season, second only behind Michael Cansdale. It also to Henry to a grand total of 1446 runs, an excellent acheivement.

In reply, the Orsett innings again got off to a bad start, losing 2 very quick wickets, to father and daughter opening attack of Baiju and Afra Mohammed. But a fine stand between Mark O'Neil and Greg Mendham ensured that Orsett were in control, Greg falling for 26 and Mark retiring on a very good 74, which included 15 fours. Robert Healy picked up 1 for 7 and Teddy Waters the other wicket. in fact, the only person not to get a bowl was Mark Blake, as he was due on next, but Kian Flood finished off proceedings with two big sixes off Henry Overy bowling spin and finished up 24 not out, as Orsett cruised home on this occasion in what proved to be a nice game and good day and a fine way to end the season.
