Opener Jack Plane registered a career best of 167 Not Out as he carried his bat in this Sunday friendly encounter at North Stifford. He was ably supported by Michael Cansdale (27) And Wayne Read (31*) as Belhus notched up a commanding 262-2 off their 35 overs. Ruislip found life hard in the sunshine with the pick of the bowlers being V Jani with his 1-46 off 6 overs.

In reply, Ruislip came out hot with opener Ankush blasting 113 runs, looking to win the game by himself with the help of some wayward bowling up front until he was remarkably caught off a full blooded drive one handed by 61 years young Mike Randall diving flat out to his right at short extra cover. Young Zoran Suneel provided some consistency and clawed Ruislip back in the middle overs picking up 1-41 off his 7 overs. Debutaunt Salah Kader bowled well to claim 2-36 off his 7 in his first game but main pick of the bowlers was Ewan Day who bowled a decent 2nd spell picking up 3-40 off his 7 to leave Ruislip short by 42 runs. Well played Belhus.

With his innings, Jack Plane became the first batsman at the club to reach 500 runs for the season, well batted Jack.
