Although Walthamstow were placed below Belhus in their HFEL Division, they had a day to remember as they bowled out our shocked 1st XI for a meagre 55, having no answer to Anujan Thiru who took 5 for 18 from his 10 overs.

Walthamstow then knocked off the runs without much fuss and won by 6 wickets. Well played Walthamstow.

This match was a far cry from the corresponding fixture earlier in the season when the Belhus batters chalked up 300. As they say, cricket is a funny old game.

Belhus are still positioned in 5th place in their Division while Walthamstow sit in 7th - with 7 matches of the League season remaining.
