In this 10th Hamro Foundation Essex League match of the season at North Stifford, Belhus lost the toss and had to suffer an afternoon in the field on another scorching hot day during the heat wave.

Louie Mailey was on song with the ball as he captured 5 for 28, and 2 wickets apiece from Zak Wilson and the in-form Callum Owen saw Barking bowled out for an under-par total of 195.

In our reply after tea, opener Salman Khan stroked a fine run-a-ball 96 (5 x sixes) leaving Riley Everett to occupy the crease for an unbeaten 55 and see the 1st XI home to a comfortable 6-wicket win in 36.1 overs.
