In the 4th XI's second Hamro Foundation Essex League match of the season, Redbridge 3rd XI batted first and saw most of their batters make contributions to their score with Jacinth Arjunan leading the way with a fine 57. Finishing the innings on 250 for 7 from their 40 overs after Billy Baker and Michael Cansdale had taken 2 wickets each, it was a competitive total for us to chase.

After tea, we lost 2 early wickets but then our middle-order batters got into gear with Aryan striking a commanding 82. Unfortunately we couldn't maintain the momentum and were dismissed for 205 to lose by 45 runs.
