This final League match of the season saw Goresbrook bat first and notch up 271-7 from their 50 overs after Shane Barwick (62) and Muhammad Attaullah (55*) stroked half-centuries.

In the Belhus reply, all of the batters made a fine effort to chase down the runs but no-one managed to kick on as they were just getting set, and Goresbrook edged home to victory by just 22 runs. Well played Goresbrook.

The young Belhus side will drop down to Division Three next season after a campaign that saw a number of close games that could have gone either way.
