In this tenth HFEL match of the season Bentley won the toss and skipper Ashley Parmenter elected to field.

And it proved a good decision by him as the Belhus batters never really got in to gear and wickets fell steadily. Top-scorer Dylan Sinfield struck 43 but from 70-3 they lost 7 wickets for 37 to be dismissed for 107 all out. And it was Oliver Beaney who did the damage in taking 6 for 28 from 11 tight overs.

Such a lowly total was always going to be difficult for us to defend and, sure enough, Bentley knocked off the runs in 24 overs to win comfortably by 8 wickets with Phil Coleman undefeated on 51.

Not a good day for our 1st XI but well played Bentley.
