Match report Belhus Belles received a kind invitation from West Mersea CC to take part in their charity softball festival, which was raising funds for the Ruth Strauss Foundation. In our first of three matches as part of the event, we batted first and maybe too cautiously. Our gross score was 35. However, we lost three wickets our innings and therefore our net team score was 26. In reply, Tendring accumulated runs steadily, totalling 64 runs. They lost just one wicket in the third over of their innings to finish with a net score of 61.

As is normal for women's softball pairs cricket, the scoresheets do not capture individual scores or bowling analysis.
