Our Under 16s won their third successive match in the ECCB Trevor Bailey Shield with a resounding 151-runs victory over Wickford.

Batting first, openers Ben Gladman (122*) and Alfie Ware (104) were in excellent form as they both struck their maiden centuries as we racked up a match-winning total of 295 for 3 after the allotted 40 overs.

In chasing the formidable Belhus total, Wickford's opener Billy Corps led the way with a fine half-century (60). Unfortunately, the rest of his team couldn't quite help to reach the required target as they were bowled out for 144. James Webb continued his fine season with the ball in capturing 4 for 41 to take his tally to 32 wickets.
