Fielding first in this ECCB Brian Taylor Trophy match, West Essex must have been delighted to have bowled us out for a lowly 51 with only Elliott Osborne reaching double figures (16).

But after the break, our bowlers were in superb form as Alfie Bowden took 3 for 8 and Finlay Lovell took a fantastic career-best 6 for 6 from just 5 overs and they skittled out WE for just 18 runs (8 extras).

Another fine win by our talented Under 12s who remain unbeaten this season. Well played all - and Finlay in particular.
