In this pre-SECPG League/Cup T20 friendly, our Under 15 Bombers batted first and posted an under-par score of 97 for 9, with thanks only to Matthew Friend (26*) and Ben Gladman (17) who rescued us from what would otherwise have been a losing total.

In the run-chase after tea, the Bombers were soon in the driving seat until a mid-order rally swung the game back into the Saxons' favour. But then with Dylan Sinfield taking 2 for 7 and Louie Mailey 4 for 9 we fought back gamely, and an exciting finish saw the last Saxons batsman run out off the final ball of the match as we sealed victory by 1 run!

Phew - matches don't get any closer than this! Well played the Bombers.
