Belhus bowled well to dismiss Orsett for a lowly 95 as Greg Mendham scored more than one-half of his team's total - the only double figure contribution - with a fine half-century. Charlotte Waters was our stand-out bowler capturing 3 for 41, and Dylan Sinfield bowled really well to take 2 for 9 (from 5 overs) including the dangerous Mark O'Neill for a duck.

In our reply, Orsett's Sam Petch-Smith produced a great spell from his 8 overs in returning 5 for 26, and at 39 for 6 we were struggling to reach the required target. But then Scott Sinfield marched to the crease to produce a controlled 25 leaving Martin Mailey to steer us home to an exciting 1-wicket win with the help of 4 byes with Baiju Mohamed on strike.

An enjoyable, close game played in friendly spirit.
