Highlight of this 40 over match v Goresbrook was 'Nelson' - 111 n.o. by opener Jack Plane who was dropped on nought - a real dolly too! Other contributions came from Michael Cansdale (50) and Wayne Read (30) as Belhus 2nd XI posted 238 for just 3 wickets which could have been more.

In reply, Goresbrook initially threatened on what was a very achievable score on a good wicket and lightning fast outfield. However, the reply fizzled out tamely as Goresbrook closed on 168 for 8.
