Belhus 4th XI batted first in the final match of their 2019 SNEL campaign, and posted a respectable total of 227 for 7 with George Maidment (34), Ryan Prendergast (32), Stewart Morris (30) and Rob Marlow (37*) all contributing to the cause. For Benfleet, Harry Lilliot took 3 for 27.

In the run-chase after tea, opener Will Roberts batted superbly, but unfortunately fell just one run short of what would have been a deserved century and his team went on to reach their required target in 36.4 overs to win comfortably by 7 wickets. Well played Benfleet.

And in the SNEL 4th Premier Division East, our 4th XI finished mid-table - respectable yes, but earlier in the season they had been looking to challenge for a much higher position.
