Our 3rd XI batted first in this Readers South Thames League match and proceeded to rack up an impressive 245 for 4 from their allotted 45 overs, thanks largely to a maiden century by Barry Ruck.

After tea, Ian Havard and Mike Squires took 3 and 2 wickets respectively, but we were unable to winkle Orpington out and had to settle for draw.
