Match report Electing to bat at North Stifford in this 35-over friendly encounter, Belhus, with a much improved batting line up, posted a very competitive 215 for 8 after being 11 for 2. Zak Wilson continued his current good form with another 50 and was supported by Wayne Read (35), Michael Fogg (34), George Maidment (21) and Michael Cansdale who hit a rapid 44 including 20 in one over off opening bowler Warriner. For Weald, L. Savage took 4 for 14.

With a team limited on the bowling front, Billy Maidment bowled well to return 1-22 off his seven overs and the ever-improving Tyler Robertson claimed 1-30 off six. But South Weald comfortably reached their target after a slow start through half-centuries from Long and Stroud and extras that unfortunately top scored with 65! which was very disappointing.
