Match report The Belhus Development XI played St Johns at North Stifford.

Belhus batted first and racked up 245 for 5 in their 35 overs, as K.Dhannie 57 and L.Waters 21 got us off to a good start. Then young Alex Blake got 13, Read 30 and Zak Wilson 51 moved the scoreboard on even more but both retired not out, to leave time for J.Fairweather to hit a nice 13 with A.Dudmish 25 both not out at the end.

The total proved way too big for the St Johns side that included young Belhus colts, Tyler Robertson and Teddy Waters, who both played very well. St Johns were bowled out for 88, Mike Randall picking up 3 for 9 in 7 overs, supported well by all the other bowlers. Young Brothers Lewis and Alex Blake bowled really well taking 2 for 21 and 1 for 6 respectively and 1 wicket apiece for Fairweather, Dudmish and Cansdale. Rolse 24 and Saunders 33 not out were the only batters to really trouble the scorer.

St Johns thanked both our youngsters helping them out and for having a very enjoyable afternoon.
