Match report Belhus played Norwich in the first match of 2017 senior tour at the lovely Ingham ground.

Batting first Belhus reached 152 for 6 wickets in 31 overs when the rain came and tea was taken. V.Lingala with 43 on his tour debut and M.Williams 42 n/o were the main run scorers, supported by R.Wells 20.

After tea, the decision was made that Norwich would have 30 overs to chase down the Belhus total in order to ensure the game was completed. Norwich did this in the 28th over, as Murphy scored 31 and both Beaumont and Lake reached 50 and retired to ensure the victory in what proved to be a very enjoyable and closely contrived game, as Belhus went one nil down in the tour series.
