Match report Electing to bat in this 40 over encounter, Belhus produced a well below par batting display to score just 130 runs on a good but slow Stifford wicket with 10.1 overs remaining. Josh Clarke held the innings together with a good 42 until he tried to open up feeling he was going to run out of partners and was bowled. A steady 27 from the improving Jack Thomas and a 22 run flourish from Liam Waters were the only exceptions. For the visitors, Atif took 5 for 18 from 5.5 overs and Penrose 3 for 25 from 5.

In reply, Atif opened the batting and a confident L.B.W. shout first ball was turned down only for him to be caught off the last ball of the 1st over. The visitors then progressed at a snail's pace reaching 69 for 1 off 22 overs against good bowling with the miserly Maidment conceding just 11 runs from 6 overs, Sam George 9 runs from 4 overs and Jamie Fairweather who bowled with good pace, 11 runs from 5 overs. The heavens then opened and the game abandoned with 61 runs still required and 18 overs remaining. Dickenson made a patient 26 and Hilton a likewise 38.
