Match report A 'youthful' 'Belhus 9' proved too strong in this mid-week friendly encounter. Put into bat on a slow wicket in this 35 over encounter, Belhus lost opener M.Cansdale early but recovered well and scored 207 a.o. The main contributions coming from guest players the Quershi brothers who both scored 47. and Adam Dudmish who compiled a well made 59. Best of the Chelmer Vets bowling came from Griffiths with 2 for 28.

In reply, the Vets' innings never really got going and they were dismissed for just 107 with all bowlers bar one having success. Top scores came from M.John who made 22 and P.Brown who hit 18. Veteran Jim Robertson claimed the final two wickets of the innings both caught at long off by Michael Randall to be on a hat trick on his next game! A match played in good spirit with a lovely tea.
