Match report Electing to field in this 40 over encounter Belhus Sunday 2's were outplayed in all departments by a very useful Anson St George outfit at North Stifford.
Openers Mike Randall and Jack Plane both departed cheaply and a recovery was effected by Zak Wilson and Wayne Read in a useful stand of 56 as Belhus became well placed at 61 for 2 off 11 overs. However, a plithera of soft dismissals coupled with good catching saw the innings fall away for Belhus to be all out for a very modest 146 with ten overs remaining on another decent pitch. This left John Wilson stranded on 23 n.o. Young Liam Walters ever-improving contributed a useful 28 runs until he too played a loose shot. For the visitors M.Pullman took 3 for 26 and S.Brooks 4 for 16.

In reply, Anson St George suffered two early losses, the first a Billy Maidment special bowled all ends up and the second to an amazing Jack Plane one-handed catch inches off the ground. After that, an unbroken partnership of 122 saw the visitors home by 8 wickets with 12.4 overs remaining as M.James and M.Gilbert both passed the fifty mark in a very comprehensive victory.
