Match report Batting first, Orsett posted a modest total of 149 for 9 after their 45 overs as Stuart Warren top-scored with a fine 30. Alan Maidment was the pick of the Belhus bowlers with 3 for 43 although it wasn't quite one of our better days in the catching department as at least 7 reasonable chances were grassed!

In our run-chase after tea, Russ Blackburn struck a masterly 53 to help us into a commanding position, but our other batsmen failed to support him and we were dismissed for 114 to lose this SNEL match by 35 runs with 9 overs remaining!! a very dis-appointing performance. Dean Henry bowled well for Orsett in taking 3 for 16.

After 10 matches of the 2016 season, our 3rd XI sit in second place in their SNEL Division.
