In this high-scoring Midweek friendly Belhus beat Old Victorians by 7 wickets, in what was a batsman's day.

Batting first, Old Victorians racked up 300 in their 40 overs, thanks to a big hundred from Z Rehman. His 179 included 24 fours and 5 sixes, as he set about about our attack with no remorse, as he was assisted by J O'Sullivan 31 and C Wright 29.

We set about the task of chasing this very big total well, losing Z Wilson at 92 for 1, his 55 including 9 fours and 2 sixes. E Morris fell at 96 for 2, with 28 and this brought W Read to the crease to join R Blackburn and they put on 85 before Blackburn fell for 43, with 9 fours. G Maidment then joined Read and the pair saw us home for what was an amazing win, as we scored an incredible 302 in only 32.4 overs.

Maidment was 55 not out with 8 fours and Read 102 not out in lovely innings, which included 10 fours and 2 sixes.
