The rag tag Belhus tour party cobbled together post a raft of injuries and late withdrawals rolled into Mattishall for match three of the Norfolk tour.

Stewart Farr took the captaincy and negotiated that the tourists bat first. Events did not go to plan as Belhus lost Read and Fogg early whilst Randall seemed transfixed at the crease as he laboured to 6 from 45 balls before being dismissed in the 18th over. Stuart Morris lifted morale with some fine blows in his 70-ball innings of 72 with support from Charlie Lewis (24) and a well struck 34 from Tom Thompson allowed Belhus to post 202-8 from their 40 allotted overs. B.Hughes was the leading wicket-taker for the hosts with figures of 4-36.

In reply, Mattishall were steaming along at 128-4 from just 16 overs all hope seemed lost for the tourists. But when South African Stolz lofted Jim Banner into the deep to be caught by Michael Fogg for 51 - this proved to be a dramatic turning point. Belhus proceeded to take a further five wickets for just 48 runs in eight overs to steal the match from under the hosts noses. Banner took 3-58 and Charlie Lewis wrapped the game up taking the last two wickets for no runs. Michael Fogg had an outstanding day in the field taking four fine catches including a one-handed boundary catch which defied belief and drew a standing ovation from the home side.

An extraordinary 'theft' of a match by Belhus - the result of which meant the tour could not be 'lost' as they took a 2-1 lead into their final match at Sprowston.
