Match report Belhus batted first and the lively bowling of Alfie Hedges saw Elliott and Ruck both out for 0 (2-2). Roy Heffernan was then joined by John Williams for his first innings in 20+ years. Roy went on to score 29 in a partnership of 52 with Dan Norris whose 85 entertained with 17 x 4's and 1 six. Dan added 75 with Connor Day (19) fresh from his maiden century the previous Sunday. Matthew Williams (10) and skipper Jim Banner (18 not out) enjoyed smart cameo knocks. When Mike Randall arrived at the crease Jim Banner soon declared the innings after 37 overs. Belhus closed on 191-7.

Noak Hill started in a similar fashion to Belhus losing opener Jakir to the tight bowling of Sam Hall. Sam could have had a couple more wickets had our fielders held catches. The star performer in the field for Belhus was Ryan Prendergast. Ryan bowled his 11 overs in one spell, spinning out the top order with his brand of spin, which saw him bowl an excellent line and length. Not satisfield with his wickets, some smart fielding saw him run out Mick Hodgson. Ryan ended his spell with 3-45 including 2 maidens. The only other wicket-taker was Mike Randall with his much slower version: he too took 3 wickets, his 4.4 overs conceding 32 runs. Matthew Williams bowled well for his 0-25, while the returning Connor Elliot gave away 9 runs from his one over.

In the end, a comfortable victory (Noak Hill fielded 10 men), that was made even more enjoyable by the cricket week teas (Chicken Curry) and the home team's hospitality after the match.
