Match report Electing to bat in in this 35 encounter on the Monday of Locksbottom's cricket week, Belhus made a positive start with openers Randall and Clark realising 36 for the first wicket. Randall was bowled for 31 trying to maintain the tempo and further contributions came from Clark (32) Ruck(24) Heffernan (17) and the fast improving Jack Day 57 from 41 deliveries as Belhus closed on a competitive 204 for 7. Best of the Locksbottom bowling came from Buck who took 1 for 17 off his 7 overs.

In reply, Locksbottom's opener Mark Lambourne struck a century including 10 boundaries and 7 sixes to finish undefeated on 113. Fellow opener Moon contributed 52 in an opening stand of 134 until he was bowled by Jim Banner - the only Belhus success. Belhus tried seven bowlers but it was Lambourne's day as he gave just one half chance and then a drop on the boundary, but Locksbottom were home by then to win with 4.2 overs remaining for a comfortable win.
