Match report Electing to bat the visitors made a slow start reaching 30 for 1 off 15 overs. Wickets then fell regularly as Scott Stonham and under 15 George Maidment both claimed 3 victims. The score had reached 97 for 9 after 36 overs. However no 9 Richardson and 11 Wilcox were not ready for tea yet, as they added 103 of the next 14 overs with 42 and 65 respectively.

In reply, opener Shahid was dismissed early from a stunning catch in the slips by blunt. When his partner Ruck was out with the score at 74 for 34 the target looked out of reach. However Scott Stonham (40) and junior Mark Fogg (28) took stage to bring the score to 144. However, with only 6 overs to go survival looked the only option. But skipper Hall and Maidment G, now with bat in hand had other ideas as a number of hefty blows kept the home side in the chase. opening bowler Wilcox returned to the attack to stem the run flow and personally ended with 5 for 62 after his earlier efforts with the bat as Belhus ended 8 runs short of the winning post with Hall (28) and Maiadment(19) both undefeated
