Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 9 Wickets

Match report Belhus 2's suffered a 9 wickets reverse at the hands of South Fambridge at South Ockendon Rec on Sunday in the second match of the Warsop Sunday league. The top order Belhus batting once again failed with only Keith Dhannie (who scored 16 runs off the first over including a huge straight six off the first ball of the game) making double figures. However later contributions from Jack Plane and Mudassir Mukhtar at No. 8 and No. 9 respectively with 37 and 48 gave the Belhus side a reasonable total on a track of variable bounce.

In reply, Belhus grabbed an early wicket to be in the game but with no further success lost by 9 wickets. It was not to be their day as both batsmen played and missed many times and miscued, but nothing went to hand. After being dropped, Kemox went on to get 91 n.o.! Opener B.Walker made a more sedate 46 n.o. For Belhus, Mukhtar and Plane bowled well making it hard early on for the batsman with only 47 runs between them off 16 overs. Sadly, the other bowlers could not emulate this except Dhannie who also bowled well.
