It was tough going at Franks Lane on Sunday as Belhus suffered on another rain-affected pitch. Electing to bat after a delayed start Belhus found runs at a premium against steady bowling from Wickens and Clow who conceded just 10 and 19 runs respectively from their 8 overs a piece. Belhus taking 10 overs to rach double figures!! for the untimely loss of Michael Cansdale well taken at mid on off Clow. Scott Stonham scored 42 and Mike Randall contributed 36 in a useful 3rd wicket stand until Stonham departed attempting another big hit. The only other contributions came from opener Mendlam was scored 18 and Jack Plane 11 (including a 6). Belhus closed on a disappointing 129 for 9 possibly 20-30 runs short.

In reply, Kirby made a brighter start with Kirby's Horshair making an undefeated 60 despite a let off with valuable support form Tomey with a good 37. as the home side eased to a comfortable eight wicket victory. Belhus kept going to the end bowling 36.2 overs. Joshua Langrish took both wickets for Belhus, picking up 2-31 from his medium pace.
