Belhus all-rounder Brian Edwards picked up a career best 6-73 from a mammoth 19-over spell at Wickford Memorial Park on Saturday, only to see his team completely wiped out by two devastating individual displays - one from opening batsman Jack McCarthy who fell just three runs short of a century when he was caught by Edwards off the bowling of Mike Squires, then, in the post-tea session, Tommy Morris claimed seven wickets for just 19 runs in a magnificent twelve-over spell which included three maidens.

Amidst the Morris-induced carnage, Peter Clark and Connor Elliot resisted to a degree with 47 and 27 respectively.
