Scott Bayford hit a magnificent 136 not out to enable Belhus to set an early declaration at Hainault Recreation Ground on Saturday. Amit Gohil struck 41 as he and Bayford put on 174 for the second wicket.

After tea, two bowlers were employed and they duly responded with five wickets each. Robert Long took 5-40 from 10.3 overs which included one maiden, while Belhus skipper Paul Whitlock took 5-31 from ten overs (four maidens), to send Belhus top of the Shepherd Neame fourth eleven division three East.

Scott Bayford achieved a personal career-best 136 not out - the highest individual score, to date, for the 4th XI.
