For the first time in their history, the Belhus fourth eleven won a fixture by ten wickets in this decisive performance over near-neighbours Stanford le Hope in the Shepherd Neame Essex League. Jabir Sawar was the man who wreaked havoc with the Stanford batting, taking 5-17 from 14 overs, eight of which were maidens. Skipper Paul Whitlock gave valuable support with 4-43.

Stanford opener David Ashley top scored with 22, Hogger hit 14 but number eleven Laura Knight impressed with the bat with an undefeated 18. Michael Randall hit 46 and Peter Clark scored 23 as Belhus reached their target without blemish.
